Regulations on the use of cookies

This Cookie Policy is an integral part of the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy of Data Treatment Auditors. By accessing and browsing the site, or using its services, you accept the General Conditions established in our Legal Notice (and therefore the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy). Please read them carefully.

Thank you for visiting us. We want your experience on the site to be the best possible, which is why we have drafted this Cookie Policy, in compliance with section two of article 22 of Law 34/2002, of July 11th, on information society services and electronic commerce (hereinafter, LSSI), in the clearest, most transparent, complete, and understandable way possible.

What is a Cookie?

This website uses cookies and/or similar technologies that store and retrieve information when you browse. In general, these technologies can serve various purposes, such as recognizing you as a user, obtaining information about your browsing habits, or personalizing the way content is displayed.

Cookies are files that contain small amounts of information that are downloaded to the browser or device used by the user (smartphone, tablet, or connected TV) when visiting a website. Their main purpose is to store information about your visit and recognize the user each time they access the website. They also allow us to improve the quality and usability of our website.

Cookies are essential for the functioning of the Internet; they cannot harm the user’s equipment/device, and if they are activated in the browser’s settings, they help us identify and resolve any malfunctions on www.ndes.es.

Like most websites, this website uses Cookies to ensure that the web page functions correctly, store preferences such as the selected language or font size, gather anonymous statistical information about the user’s browsing experience, such as which pages they have visited or how long they have stayed on the website.

Types of Cookies

There are different types of cookies. They all work in the same way, but there are small differences:

– Cookies de Sesión: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page. They are typically used to store information that only needs to be kept for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g., a list of purchased products) and disappear once the session ends. Session cookies only last for the duration of your visit and are deleted when you close the browser. Their main purpose is to identify the type of device, support website security, or basic functionality. They do not contain personal information that allows us to identify a person.

– Persistent or Permanent Cookies: data is stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a defined period by the cookie’s controller. These cookies are stored on the hard drive of the device, and our website reads them every time the user makes a new visit to the website; they have an expiration date or defined expiration, after which the cookie stops working. They allow us to identify your actions and preferences, analyze visits, and help us understand how users reach our page and improve our services.

– Technical, Strictly Necessary Cookies: (exempt from the obligations established in article 22.2 of the LSSI when they allow the service requested by the user). These are cookies that allow the user to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available, including those that the editor uses to allow the management and operation of the website and enable its functions and services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, remembering the elements that make up an order, completing the purchase process of an order, managing payment, controlling fraud linked to the security of the service, requesting registration or participation in an event, counting visits for the purpose of billing the software licenses with which the service operates (website, platform, or application), using security elements during navigation, storing content for the dissemination of videos or sound, enabling dynamic content (e.g., loading animation of a text or image), or sharing content through social networks.

– Preference or Personalization Cookies: These allow the website to remember information so that the user can access the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as language, the number of results to show when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the type of browser through which the user accesses the service or the region from which they access the service, etc.

– Geo-Location Cookies: Used to determine in which country or region the user is located when accessing a service on the website to offer them content or services appropriate to their location.

– Analytical or Measurement Cookies: These allow the controller of these cookies to monitor and analyze the behavior of users on the linked websites, including quantifying the impact of ads. The information collected through this type of cookies is used in measuring the activity of the website, application, or platform, for the purposes of introducing improvements based on the analysis of user data.

– Behavioral Advertising Cookies: These store information about the behavior of users obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, enabling the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.

– Anonymous: They only collect information about the advertising spaces displayed on the website, regardless of the user accessing the website, i.e., without expressly identifying them.

– Personalized: They collect personal information about the website user from a third party, for the customization of said advertising spaces.

– Functionality Cookies: These allow the user’s decisions, such as their login or identifier, to be remembered. The information collected by these cookies is anonymized (i.e., it does not contain your name, address, or other data).

– Own Cookies: These are sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the requested service is provided.

– Third-party Cookies: Third-party cookies are those installed by a website other than the one you are visiting; for example, those used by social networks (such as Facebook) or external content plugins (such as Google Maps). Additionally, some advertising companies use this type of file to track your visits to each site where they advertise.
